Loathe me

Guess who's back from Raaaaaajashthan.
Guess who's writing a neeeeeew post.
Guess who's not going to get any more readers/followers because he never updates and is a complete jackass to begiiiiiiiiiiin with.

If you're thinking "ME", then you're thinking somewhere along the lines.
Not nearly as accurate though.

Who wants to see pictures?
Who?
Do I see a hand back there?

No wait my bad,
that's just a streetlamp in an abandoned city where no one lives.
*looks around*
What am I doing here?

So no takers for pictures?
None at all?
You're scrolling down real fast aren't you?

I don't like you.

I'm sure it's mutual.

I'm going to slap these pictures on your face anyway.

Loathe me.

Not another Update.

I could begin to write about how my class trip was awesome but I shan't.
Too many things happened.
Let's just say it was awesome and get over with it.

Here is a picture instead:

Alive and Dead again

Look who's back.Yes.Finally a new blogpost.
So,

"Where have you been you son-of-a-gun?"

"Oh I know, you were 'busy' again weren't you? You don't have time for us."

"As if you don't get holidays in college."

Yadayadayada.

Let's get over it already.
We all know by now how much you'll hate me.

These people are termed as "NAFS"
(Non Architecture Friends) by everyone in the college.
They are categorised by their inability to comprehend our busy schedule.

Newsflash.

We have college on sundays a
nd the only holidays we get are fridays but we go to college to work for saturday anyway.
So we have no
holidays.
I'm not complaining.
Ok maybe I am, a little bit.
But that's ok.

Let's see what's been happening since I've disappeared.
Brief.
Yes, brief.

1) Archfest( our college festival) was fun to ridiculous extents.

We prepared for the festival for more than 2 weeks which included making posters,
decorating the place and site
development.
revamping the floors.
Speaking of which, Nehaal and me got to paint half the 7th floor wall(banner) with whatever we want.

And obviously we did the most narcissistic thing possible.

We drew ourselves. As cartoon characters(
which was part of our architecture design project). Fighting each other. And a phoenix emerging from the clash of powers.

Thus preparing for archfest had as leaving for college at 8:30 AM and reaching home at 1 in the morning (because we still had lectures and we could work only after they were done).

Archfest was awesome.
The main theme was "The butterfly effect"

The first day ended with fresher's night.
That
was when the judges(5th year-ites) asked 10 shortlisted guys and girls each to do stuff on stage for the title of Mr. and Miss fresher.
I was one of the shortlisted.
And I was very obviously pathetic on stage.
As usual.

Awards went to
Farzan- Mr. Fresher
Ain(You might want to know what her real name is)- Miss Fresher
Nehaal- Assist. Mr. Fresher
Soumya- Assist. Miss Fresher

And every day had a special theme to it so we had to come dressed appropriately.
(The best of which was goth day)

We had seminars and workshops everyday(photography, yoga etcetc).

Heh, yoga. A senior was teaching us.
She's pretty amazing at it.
We nearly died laughing at our miserable attempts of trying out the positions.
Positions *snickers*.

The last day of archfest ha
d performances by everyone.
Our attempt at a rock performance went down the drain thanks to the terrible sound system.
Oh Ain was nicknamed "boom-boom" thanks to her *cough* dance performance*cough*
Don't ask.

2)I rock:
Independence Rock. 24th year.
Attended both days.
I have nothing to say except that it was pretty freakin' awesome.
It rained while we head-banged to the music.

Demonic resurrection at I Rock

3)Submissions: After archfest, the teachers seem to be cramming up as many submissions as possible. Harbingers of death they are.

Pictures from goth day(oh how I loved that day):

(L to R):Me, Farzan, Ain, Nehaal

Clockwise from left: Radhika, Rohit, Safi, Farzan, Nehaal, Ain, Irmeen, Me, Soumya, Xerxes

Thus ends the most uninterestingly composed and documentary-ish post in my blog.

JUST ANOTHER UNTITLED POST.

At the time, my life just seemed too complete, and maybe we have to break everything to make something better out of ourselves. ~Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club

Fight Club.
I watched the movie for the 2nd time.
Two days back.
At Niharika's place.
I need to get my hands on the book.

I haven't slept all day today.
I wasn't sleepy.
Though I stayed awake almost all night, last night.

I watched 3 movies today:

The hangover
Watchmen
Gladiator

In the specified order.
Loved them all.
For different reasons.

I also had 3 showers today.

THE NIGHT BEFORE:

[Midnight]

Niharika calls.

[3AM]

We're still talking.
Both of us are sleepy but in utter denial of the fact.
The lights are turned off at both ends.
Drowsiness begins to be unbearable.
We fight on.
There is a battle to be won.
This is war.

[A while later]
Things start to fade.
Everything is blank.
I wake up.
I'm lying on my bed.
My cellphone is sandwiched between the pillow and my head.

Me: Hello?

Niharika: Wha-hello?

Me: Did we both just doze off while talking to each other?

Niharika: What? OHMYGOD we did! We both fell asleep at the exact same point of time!!

Me: It's 4:50 AM

Niharika: Oh my god. I don't even remember what we were talking about!

Me: Neither do I.This doesn't happen very often does it? To anyone.

Niharika: It doesn't!

Me: This is bloody awesome!

Niharika: It is!

Me: Bloody, AWESOME.

Then we were wide awake and talked until the break of dawn, which would be around 6 in the morning.

Me. Niharika Eranki. At "Candies".

Also,
I've finally managed to borrow "V for Vendetta" from Rohit.
Not the movie, the graphic novel.

There's lots more to say, but I'll save it for the next post.
My apologies for not posting stuff in quite a while.
I'm going to try to update sooner(read: less than a gap of almost a month) from next time on.
BUT SRSLY GUYZ THIS IS SRS BSNS.

I need sleep now.
I need food too, but nevermind that.

UPDATE(S)

Because I couldn't think of a more suitable title.
And because I haven't blogged in quite some time.
Yessss!
I've finally achieved a confirmed seat in Rizvi college of architecture(<--old news).
Oh and I love my class.
Most of them think I'm a freak owing to the fact that me and a friend of mine(read: Nehaal Gonzales) were laughing hysterically at apparently nothing at all for two whole days.

Oh what fun.

Today five people put kohl on their eyes after noticing the heavy dose on mine.
I'm starting a trend I tell yeh.
The laughing goths(?)

At CCD,
the entire group decides to play Truth and Dare

Me: I refuse to abide by rules of your steewpid conformist child play

Nehaal: Deeeaad baaabies oooooooh

Natasha: you guys talk like you're gay :|

Nehaal: It's not our fault you can't understand our elite gothic accent

Natasha: what? :|

Me : *laughs like a retard*

This constitutes most of my day.
Apart from sketching in class and making paper robots without using any sticking material.

Random incident:

In the bus, I ask the conductor to gimme the ticket to the last stop(which costs 5 bucks)

I handed him a 10 rupee note, following which he said something which sounded almost exactly like "nyeh grhrgl"

then he handed me the change and left.

Admissions and yadda yadda

Since most of my acquaintances are asking me about this so I thought I'd just blog about it and make a couple of minutes of your life spent reading this a little more uninteresting/boring.

So my official merit list hasn't come out yet.
I've applied for a number of architecture colleges.
Rizvi is giving lectures( out of curriculum lectures) for whoever's applied there and interested.
Thus I'm attending.
8:30-1:00

Waking up at 6:30 and travelling to Bandra in a crowded train is not the most comforting thing to do.

But what the hell, I met some really cool people and the teachers are great and what's more, they ASK you to sketch. ANYTHING you want to.
Bliss.
Yes.

And there's a workshop tomorrow and it'll be held by a professor from NID.

PS: The canteen has non-veg food. Chicken rolls, lollipops and such.

PPS: They taste fabulous too.

BUT IT'S WRONG!

xD
Random memory yes.
